Funded by the No Child Left Behind Act, Beyond the Bell is responsible for administering SES for eligible students at schools that have been Program Improvement (PI) for two years or more. SES provides free academic/tutoring type programs by outside state approved vendors. Parents of eligible students receive information by mail and must register before a fall deadline.
SOAR is the online format for reporting the Unit-based benchmark assessments for Open Court Reading. These content-based assessments occur at the end of each unit (approximately six weeks.) They provide teachers with formative data on the progress of each child. They can be interpreted for different purposes at other levels of our organization.
